PRIVACY STATEMENT FOR CANDIDATES

Trigon Limited is a leader in the security recruitment industry. We take the collection, use and retention of your personal information seriously and specify below how we use the information we have about you.

The Information We Collect and How We Use it

Trigon collects personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, CV, home or work address or telephone number. Trigon also collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your postcode, age, gender, preferences and interests. Trigon may add to the information obtained from your CV with written or verbal information taken directly from you. The only information that will be added to your record on Trigon’s internal computer is where it is considered necessary or helpful and is intended to assist in the recruitment process.

Your information is collected and used by us for the following purposes:
- Matching your details to job opportunities, to assist us in finding you the position that most suits you
- Forwarding details of your skills and experience, without your contact data, to clients whom we feel may be interested in engaging your services
- Keeping you informed of job opportunities which we think may be of interest to you
- Keeping you informed of Trigon services, news and wider developments in the security field

We will not disclose nor supply your personal information to third parties without your consent. If, after giving your consent, you decide that you no longer wish to receive information from us, please notify us by e-mail data.protection@trigon-consultancy.com

Trigon does not guarantee that any employer or client will ask for a candidate’s information, ask to interview a candidate or hire a candidate, or that any candidates will be available or will meet the needs of any employer or client. Trigon cannot guarantee that any employer or client will keep confidential any candidate information or data provided to the employer or client.

Data Quality

You are responsible for ensuring that any information you provide to Trigon, including your CV, is accurate and complete. Please do inform us promptly of any changes to your information.

Security Measures

We have technical and organisational security measures in place to ensure the security of your information and to protect it against deliberate or accidental manipulation, destruction, loss or unauthorised access.

Your Access to the Information Trigon Collects

Your have the right to request a copy of the information held by us about you in our records in return for the payment of a small fee. Prior to releasing such information, the Data Protection Officer will seek to verify the identity of the specific candidate. In pursuance of this, non digitally signed e-mails and fax requests are not acceptable. If the data we have is inaccurate, you may have such data corrected or erased.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

Trigon will occasionally update this Statement of Privacy to reflect company and customer feedback. All additions and changes will be notified to you by being posted on this page. Trigon encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how Trigon is protecting your information.
